Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan, Angelo Oliva specialized in Nervous Illnesses and obtained a Masters Degree in Neuropsychiatric Illnesses.

Currently he is Head of the Psycho-geriatric Service at Le Betulle Medical Centre, where he’s been working since 1967, from the very beginning, with Prof. Augusto Guida.

Since 1973 Angelo Oliva deals with Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders and Elderly Psycho-neurological Disorders.

He founded the Social Cooperative Vitaresidence which comprises seven homes for the care of elderly patients in need of care and rehabilitation, and for the therapy of chronic depression, dementia, chronic psychosis and vigil coma.
