Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at Milan University (110/110), Francesco Somajni specialized in Neuropsychiatry (70/70 cum laude). He soon addressed himself to the study of psychiatric and neurological disorders in young patients, gathering his first experiences in San Paolo Hospital, then in San Raffaele Hospital.

Member of the Board of Directors, he helped Prof Guida manage hospitalization. He has his own private practice in Milan as psychiatrist and psychotherapist.

At Le Betulle Centre, he is responsible for the Children’s and Youth Neuropsychiatric Service and for Forensic Medicine and Psychiatry. Furthermore, he is Assistant Head of the Sleep Disorders Clinic and a consultant in the Department of Mood and Anxiety Disorders. He is on the Medical Register of Psychotherapists in Milan and a registered Medical Expert Witness with the Milan Trial Court.

Francesco Somajni practises both privately in Milan, and at Le Betulle (Appiano Gentile, Como).
